We're a family, a few pets, and a pet furniture shop in Flour Bluff, TX.
The Max & Rex Collection started with a simple problem: we loved our pets, but we didn't love what their stuff did to our home. Litter boxes in the middle of the living room. Crates that looked like they belonged in a kennel, not a house. Furniture nobody designed with an actual home in mind.
We don't think pet owners should have to choose between a home they love and a pet they love even more. Pet furniture and home decor shouldn't be ugly — and we weren't willing to settle for it being ugly just because it was for the dog or the cats. So we started curating a collection of pieces that actually belong in a home: stylish enough for your living room, comfortable enough for them, and built to last.
Who's behind it
We're Luke and Wally — a small, family-run business based in Flour Bluff, Texas. No warehouse full of strangers, no call center — just us, doing everything from product development to packing orders to answering your emails. When you message us, you're talking to the people who actually run the store.
Our pets are the whole reason this exists
Max, Rex, and Pumpkin aren't a marketing gimmick — they're the dog and cats we come home to every day, and every product in this store gets their approval first. Max keeps us honest about comfort and quality. Rex tests durability, mostly by accident. Pumpkin tests everything, on purpose, immediately. If it doesn't hold up to the three of them — and look good doing it — it doesn't make it into the shop.
